Hope you enjoy the pictures they are so much fun to do and it keeps you guys in the swing of things....this time I had so many cute ones!!
Here it is Thursday and I am just sitting down to send a message. Summer is so different than winter. You have plants to water, grass to mow and ice cream cones to buy just because you can! I get in the house and it is 9:30 and almost time for bed or else you could not put up with the whining and even the 100 dirty diapers in one day. In order to have a smile I have to have my rest!!! This hasn't been a bad week except that it is very hot summer is officially here. The kids are loving going to the pool. I love the peace and quiet. They have been very good. All the games I have I bought a pick up the sticks and they spend hours playing it. They also love Mancala. They also love Game Boy and Game Cube I can not believe the hours kids spend on those hand held games. We had the nicest week end Steve and family game from Lincoln and then we went to the lake. It was such a perfect day. Scott said he likes the cabin because Max can have this experience which is as close as he will come to the Wagner and river experience. It was a perfect evening which we haven't had a lot of and the bugs gave us a break so we sat around the fire and just roasted marshmellows and watched the kids catch crappies you can't ask for anything better than that! Danni is coming today to spend a week. Steve has to hit the store here and in Rapid to check on them then he is going home. They close on their house here on the 30th so he has to come back next week he thought Danni could stay and do some fireworks here which gives me the hint that they may not be back for the 4th of July. So my nights will be a little fuller with her here last time she wanted to go to Thunder Road and Coyote Canyon and we did not get either done so Grandma has to pull through on some of those things this time between everyone I am sure she will have fun. Well better go tend the kiddies they are all so busy you just can't be sure what they will do it would be nice to thing they would be playing with all the toys but I rather suspect that is not the case it is so much more fun to re-arrange the house.....
To top off any good day at the lake you have to make Smore's!!
Not only did I help Grandma shuck these I tried a few of them raw I was a hungry boy.
Howdy girls I am KSFY number one fan
This is how they contain me so I don't eat grass
Look at my wind blown hair girls
Everyone enjoying steak and corn

The sweet sound of the water rushing! So sad you can not hear it...
One summer's night
I am sitting here this morning trying to decide how I can make the 2 day week end turn into 4!! You know for me one day is necessary running and I just want one day to do what I want which is sit outside by the pond and read and drink tea. Won't happen this week end. I bought more flowers so I have mud in my fingernails and I just have a few to plant beside the house and then I am done so before I get my nail brush(old toothbrush--Kelli's new one) HAHA I need to finish that job. Our garage door broke and I think we may have to go to Menards (the girls favorite place when they were young) to check it out. So as you can see relaxing won't be on the venue for today. It is a beautiful day with the sun shining on my newly mowed and weed whacked (thanks to Dad) lawn and I love watching the flowers grow and fill out. I am going to go take a picture of Dad's vine and my trellis to show you how great they look together. I am glad Nicki had a great day yesterday with some good leads. My wish upon that star must of worked. I need to do it for my day of relaxing huh!!!!

Well what a day I have had. I got to fish a dead squirrel out of the pond. The kids found him out there so Dad held Macy while I went to rescue my friend. Just took out the garbage and I am darn glad tomorrow is trash day so it can go out because it stinks!!!! He was in a prayer position or it could of been he was practicing his diving I am not sure but he bit the dust in our pond. It has been wild here with all the big kids. Trying to keep them busy is stressful. They just don't stick with things for very long. They did go to the pool yesterday but today it was rest the sunburn backs today. It is finally warm enough to go and enjoy it. I totally enjoyed the few minutes of peace and quiet. Tomorrow is Thursday so the week is going fast. As you can see by the pictures we have a full house. Dominique is my helper so she keeps them busy with crafts. Today they made puppets and had a little show. They are having some competitions to win a bottle of pop at the end of the week they are playing games to see who can be the biggest winner. They love cards the most. I even played Old Maid today and yes I won a few hands....I know it is a kids game but cards are not my favorite thing... I went on the road with Dad on Sunday so every night this week I have been doing errands after everyone leaves. So I have been busier than I would like maybe that is what makes the week fly by.
These were the Bratz's doll girls in the kitchen
So you think you are having a busy day this is the living room people

As you can see from the picture there was a lot of little mobile children and every once in awhile you couldn't see someone and panic but they would be behind a tree or chair. I had a book but I did not even open it up. It was a beautiful day to be by the water and it was fun. We had quite a week last week. Becki had the lady she gave care to die on Thursday. It was an experience that saddens a person so much and then that Mom is so far away and can not give the hugs. That fell on Nicki and Brandon's shoulders. Becki has had a goofy 2005 so far. She keeps getting a zig when she wants to zag. I am sure it will only make her a stronger person in her future. She learned that a 24 year old gal can be here one moment and gone the next. She works with people in such delicate health that a thing like this can happen very suddenly but she just had a reality check on what life is about. I believe you live everyday like it is your last for only the Lord knows when our time is up and the door to heaven is open for us.... We have had two graduations on consecutive week ends so it has been busy. This week end is a free one and I am going to finish planting my flowers I have some in but I have a few more pots to get flowers in. Gary needs to get the pool up and running before the frost moves in again!! It was 44 this week end at night so it might be August before that pool is 78 degrees which is when I like to get in to it. I must say when I finished mowing tonight a cool dip would have felt good! Well Kelli is doing better she can put weight on her foot with only one crutch.
I am the mother of at least 100 children. I am a small town girl at heart who makes her home in the big city of Sioux Falls. I love Czech food, Czech music, and even wear Czech underwear sometimes. I have a crush on Ty Pennington from Extreme Home Makeover- Home Edition.
