Day # 3 we are to the bare bathroom!!

 Posted by Picasa
We had a great demo day yesterday. Tub and toilet out! Less drinking fluids in the evening for me in! I need a porta potty outside but instead I have to go all the way downstairs. I have decided that it is good for my knees and the old downstairs bathroom cleaned up pretty good!! I thought I would keep a photo journal of our activities for you so you can feel like you are not missing anything!! Like hard work!! Dad is holding up pretty good. I had a stained glass window fall on the middle of my hand yesterday and I thought I was going to die from the ache of it about then Dad yelled and said the tub was ready to come out so Lynette to the rescue. I carried it out and that is when I decided it was not broke just hurt. It ached into the palm of my hand for two hours and then it quit. Lisa and family brought us a treat of enchiladias(probably murdered that) and cherry cheesecake. She said she bought a box mix from Wallmart and Great Value cherried and for a $1.50 we had the most wonderful dessert. Dad even had an extra little piece... It was very nice of them to bring food. I am not sure what today will bring but tune in tomorrow for picture updates!

Ok we or rather he is on a roll he has the sheetrock down and the sink out. Hopefully tomorrow he can get the tub out and then get the other one in. He said he can't wait to start the fun stuff. This is just one heck of a mess. At least that is done and it did not disrupt life too much here today with the daycare. Little ones slept right through his knocking down that stuff. What troopers they are... I will keep you updated. We have a plumber coming so he is reliefed about that one!!

Ok I just had my first shower in the basement. I did it tonight because I could plug the heater in and go down in a few minutes and it was nice and cozy in there. The water pressure was good but shaving your legs was a chalenge!! I know not one single one of my kids will feel sorry for me because that is how they showered everyday before school when they were living at home. Dad has the surrond down and the tub full of sheetrock so it has been an eventful day. What a mess the sheet rock was even downstairs falling through the overflow hole on the tub. It goes every where. Well I am off to bed after I clean up sheet rock mess in bathroom up here. That is my job go for and clean up crew oh yes and I have kitchen duty since my live in chef is rather busy!! Tonight it was Lipton chicken noodle soup and polish sausage. It was not the best but it was a crazy day at my house I did dinner dishes at 4:00 if that tells you anything but tomorrow is Friday and I know I can make it one more day if I get some sleep tonight!!!

Whew it was a wild and crazy one!

We have had so much fun and so many laughs the last few days have just flown by. Luke thought he would keep Grandma up off and on until 2 A.M. he said he cried because he wanted Macy's towel which was an issue after his bath other than that they sleep good, ate good, and most of all played good. We had two parties with their cousins and tonight we had the ultimate. Eight little children five and under and it was great. We had pizza, homemade ice cream and the special Grandma Rezac cake and frosting. We had so much fun now it is time to got to bed and get ready for the next week. Scott and Paige had a great time and of course it was too short as always. The kids were happy to see them... Now here are some of our special moments..

I know it was cruel but I just knew this was a Kodak moment...she was not happy but I think she is going to make one heck of a stripper in Lesterville when she gets it all fine tuned!! Posted by Picasa
