What a great night we had! A quick burger at Wendy's and then off to see Willie. Your Dad is so romantic isn't he? We had great seats and Willie performed for 2 hours doing all of us old favorites. It was fun. Well it is back to real life tomorrow. School kids off to learn and me having to get up a little earlier than I have been but that is not all bad. The summer is winding down to the wonderful season of colors and falling leaves!! Have a great week all of you!!

Willie at his best. We had a great night it was fun to see Willie.  Posted by Picasa
I just thought I would shoot a few pictures out there and then get ready for the Willie Nelson concert. Dad is pretty lucky he gets to see Willie two years in a row for his birthday. I think tonight should be great because it is at the pavilion. He has scraped all week end. We are having a painting party in two weeks so lots of prep to do. I need to move my stuff off of the house and I might as well put it away for the winter. Lots of nails to pull out of the house from my Christmas stuff too. Give me a hammer and I go to town with things on the house...

Look back and see this in the Spring. Now look how pretty it is! Posted by Picasa

I looked at how long it had been since I updated and I could not believe it has almost been a month. I guess I am not bored at the moment. I have had so much fun the past couple of weeks. My girls came home and then Steve and the girls came also we had so much fun. Had family over and had a picnic and swimming party. It was a 100 degrees in the shade and everyone was in the pool but I was so busy preparing food that I did not get a picture of that I was so sad! I had two of the greatest cousins come in from California and we just had the most wonderful visits and dinners!! I had my favorite aunt and uncle come from California with their son and we had such a nice time with them. I always hate that there are so many miles between us because they are so much fun. I hope I am like them in some ways when I am older. They are someone to look up to they are so spry that is a word my Grandma always used and I pray I am like them but I plan on having a great sense of humor and I plan to keep moving and learning something new everyday... Then this past week end we had a family reunion from my Dad's side of the family. It just was so darn much fun. I had the nicest visits with all of my favorite cousins, we ate some very good food, some drank some very good beer, and then some of my cousins, brothers, and husband played polka's and some good old rock and roll. Pam even did the alligator in the shed with a dirt floor....yes she did but then this is the girl who did it in her wedding dress!!! The little kids just loved the music and they have a sense of the Bohemian music... Max was thrilled that Papa was on stage with his trumpet.. We had some Grandma Phyllis sour cream cake down at the river on Sunday in the scortching sun with hardly a breeze. I had to get a ride with sister Lisa and kids which was so much fun. The twins couldn't figure out why I was with them. When we got to my house they just ran from room to room laughing glad to get out of the heat, car seats and sand in their diapers. Last night we all went to Colleen's for supper and a swim and to say good bye to Susie and Liz...they left at noon today so that is sad. My brother Dave and Doug I barely saw but that was their choice I guess it was kind of sad but heck the rest of us had a great time. I guess they don't like me that much!!! Gary is off in Fort Collins on his little vacation. He did not have any great projects here so he went to help his daughters get themselves settled. Any how that was the plan he is probably just resting and drawing. I could of found things for him to do but I think that is what he was afraid of so he went out of state...

Brandon was the nice guy and let the girls bring the convertible to South Dakota so these children had a ride and look at those smiles!! Posted by Picasa
