I had such a boring week end I don't even have any pictures to share. I just putzed around in the yard. Some of my pansies had gone by the way side with the hot hot wind and high temps they kind of died. I think I have bought my last flower. Today I was Edward Scissorhands and cut some of the bushes. You should try it it is a great way to get rid of frustrations! I felt sorry for the neighbor guy he ended up with some stragglers on his side and it could not be fun to cut along the fence but I guess if it really bothered him he would of cut his side he has that right. Well I took care of it today. Dad will probably kill me I really went to town. They were so overgrown. He had to go to Sioux City to have a tooth put in his front partial. He was a little too aggressive with the beef jerky!! We can't wait for you girls to get home!! The pool is closed so we are having lots of crafts done in the afternoon instead. They are being very very good so I won't complain we are half way thru the summer hard to believe....

What a sad lonely feeling I had on the 4th of July and we were sitting at home and I could hear everyone shooting their fireworks. We did have a great time the night before in Madison shooting with Scott and family it was a beautiful display and watching all the other folks was a blast but then we came home and just listened to everyone have fun. Had a great time at the school reunion it was so much fun to see old teachers, friends, classmates and the Kaberna kids!! We packed a lot in 3 days. Pam is back in the hospital and we will know more today as to what will happen to her. She has to see a a_ _ specialist. So you know where her problem lies....so I had her two youngest and then the 3 Honners came over so it was crazy here until nine o'clock. Scott put his back out this morning from ripping up all the carpet so they are having fun. They are suppose to leave tommorrow for a wedding in Minneapolis and take Nana, 3 dogs, 3 kids, Paiges sister and cousin!! I thought I would go to just to add to the confusion!!! Nope I will sit tight here and enjoy the peace and quiet I believe!!! Dad and I may go to the cabin if the weather hangs in there. The wind was so bad all week end it made boating a struggle... you know me and waves or should I say white caps!!! No thanks I will just watch you is my theory on that. Well better get back to my charges they are playing Mancala they all just love that game and pick up sticks is popular also.
