Happy Holidays
The house is clean for the moment any how, the presents are wrapped yes I said the presents are wrapped as of Dec. 22 and that is an all time record for me. I must be getting organized or older I am not sure what. We are so looking forward to the girls coming from Denver. We saw them this summer in the Black Hills but they have not been home since last Christmas. The grand children are looking forward to Christmas Eve and that little old man with a white beard and a red suit to come and visit them and hopefully full fill their wishes and hopes. I finally have all of my Christmas treasures up this year and from my year of organizing the basement they were all together and so easy to find. I am excited to be able to get to my blog after a year of not being able to share. Now I need to down load my camera stuff and I will be on my way to a wonderful year....

We have been busy here at the old fort. We meaning Gary and I have put in a new sink and counter top and it looks so good but I can not get my pictures to upload so I can not let everyone in on the wonderful new look in my kitchen. He has to re-do it this week end because everything is not going together so they were so nice and ordered a new corner counter top and we hope they make sure it goes together right this time. We have a new grandson born on 2-12-08. Not that I had anything to do with that but he is just a beautiful little boy. Josi his sister has adjusted pretty good so far. She gives him little kisses on his feet and says baby... They will be best buddies too darn soon. She repeats everything you say and walks like she has done it her whole life. She will be running like crazy before we know it. I am working on a quilt for little Jhaimann so I hope to have it finished before his first birthday. I hold off reading my books and work on these blankets like a crazy woman. I love watching it become a blanket with color instead of white with blue X's. It is fun and a work of love. I wish I could share with pictures.

Goals are for the future; values are for now.
Goals are set; values are lived. Goals change;
values are rocks that you can count on.

This is for you girls. I thought with new babies and new school loads I bring you some Lynette wisdom borrowed from Sheldon. I know Nicki what my goals always were to instill values in my children and now my grand children that is one hefty goal and by golly I think I know a family of goal orientated children who are pretty darn successful in everything they do and if they do hit a bump lots of arms wrap around them with support and they pick them selves up by their boot straps and get on the horse and ride forward. I hope to post a picture of the work in progress baby blanket and some other pictures sometime today between the cleaning of the storage room!! Closets are done so I have no other excuse and it will feel so good to have that with a big FAT check mark instead of a to do list leftover!!
