Your new puppy is so cute! My boss bought me a big bouquet/basket full of plants when I started my new job last month, so I'm hoping to take the 6/7 different plants and transport them to their own pots this weekend. New plants- yay!
I have a bag of potting soil from last summer that I think has been mostly sealed shut- do you think this is okay to use, or should I buy new stuff? I just don't want to kill the plants.
It is just dirt so it is fine to use it. It is always fun to start out with new plants then by October they are looking ratty and time to clean up. I need to pot those also but instead I watched a swingset go from a little boys dream to a reality for him today.
