Well what a week end. We surprised little sister Cheri with a 50th birthday party. All the sisters were there to celebrate. Then we helpled little Kelli move from her college apartment. Then I came home to a couple of little boys bringing me a Mothers Day present and a rose that was almost dead that is what Max told me as he was coming up the steps and then in the next breathe he tripped and fell on that poor rose but guess what a little sugar water and that rose is looking good!!! Dad finally went out and started a little fire in the chimiea pot and it was so relaxing. The pond running, a fire, and finally a roasted marshmellow. What more could a girl ask for? Maybe a few good children to sit around the fire with her yes that would be the finishing touch. Kelli even roasted a marshmellow!! All in all it was a great time. Thanks for all the well wishes from everyone...

The picture really doesn't do the serene layout of our backyard any justice. The smell and glow of the teeny campfire perfected the gorgeous night. It was a fine way to relax after a hard day of moving (made much harder followed by a wild night of partying! Not only in Yankton, but Vermillion as well!) Thanks so much for all of your hard work and help. Gare and Scrin were real troopers about helping me move. I don't think they stopped smiling once! In fact, I think it was probably their favorite part of the whole weekend!

No problem we would do it all over again really! Well it is Monday again--ugh!! Maybe another relaxing fire tonight..it was very relaxing wasn't it?
